This stunning outdoor transformation in Woodcliff Lake, NJ, combines luxury, functionality, and privacy to create the ultimate family retreat. Designed to encourage both relaxation and activity, the landscape offers spacious open areas for children to play freely and multiple distinct zones for entertaining and gathering.

At the heart of this retreat lies a sleek, rectangular Gunite pool, perfectly complemented by a raised patio made possible by a four-foot retaining wall. This innovative feature levels the elevation between the pool and surrounding areas, creating a seamless visual and functional flow throughout the space. Walkways crafted from 3-foot square premium bluestone maintain the modern aesthetic while fostering a sense of calm. The design is further enhanced by vibrant plantings, including hydrangeas and ornamental grasses, adding color, texture, and a natural connection to the surrounding environment.

Before the transformation, the property was densely packed with trees, limiting accessibility and creating uneven elevations that restricted usable space. The design team overcame these challenges by clearing the area and implementing a raised patio supported by a four-foot retaining wall.
